Remember when you played every week?
Somewhere between school and a real job, most of us stopped. The team split up, friends moved, and finding a game got harder than playing one. Third Half exists to get people in San Diego back in the pickup scene, and to keep you there.

Third Half is a club, not just a game. Your skill level can be anything. The culture isn’t optional. Here’s what that means on and off the pitch.
Play hard, play fair
Compete for every ball, but nobody leaves hurt. No reckless tackles, no cheap shots.
Everyone’s in the game
Pass to the new player. Include the quiet one. A good game is one where everybody touches the ball.
Respect the host
Hosts balance teams and make the calls. Take it, shake hands and move on.
Stay for the third half
The game ends at the whistle. The club starts after it. Stick around, learn names, come back next week.

Who is Third Half for?
People (20+) who want to get back into pickup soccer, whether you last played in high school, college or a rec league years ago. Newcomers are welcome too.
When do you launch?
We’re aiming for January 2028. Everyone on the list gets the exact date first.
Where will games be?
Every game is at our home pitch in San Diego. We’ll share the exact location with the list before launch.
How much will it cost?
$5 per drop-in game, or $30 a month for unlimited games as a club member.
I’m new to soccer. Is this for me?
Yes. Games will be tagged by level, including beginner games, and hosts balance teams before kickoff.
What do founding members get?
Founding member status, entry into the launch-day giveaways, and first access to booking.
Does joining the list commit me to anything?
